The Toddler Program is a Montessori-based classroom for children eighteen months to three years old, licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Education and offered as a half-day or full-day option depending on what a family needs. Trained and experienced educators build a warm, engaging environment from day one, and children hear English and Italian throughout the day, with exposure to French as well, developing an ear for language well before they’re old enough to study it formally. Music classes round out the day.
Guided by our “Thinking Like Leonardo” philosophy, teachers take your toddler's curiosity seriously: encouraging exploration, early problem-solving, and the kind of hands-on discovery that becomes a lifelong habit. Our Toddler Program builds the social and emotional groundwork every toddler needs. Grace, courtesy, cooperation, and empathy are practiced daily, along with the confidence and self-discipline that come from real choices in a safe space. Daily outdoor play supports the movement and coordination this age depends on.
Families typically move on to Casa Montessori or Scuola dell’Infanzia sometime between two and a half and three years old, carrying this foundation with them.
